We do not use cookies or any analytics or advertising services. Our font is hosted on our own server, so your browser does not connect to Google.

The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use this data ourselves. Legal basis: legitimate interest, namely a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We process your name, email address, the content of your message and anything you attach, to answer your question. Legal basis: legitimate interest or steps towards a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).

Email to @gevtos.com is routed through Cloudflare and stored in our mailbox at Google. We keep emails for up to two years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer (for example seven years for our accounts).

bol.com is responsible for your order, payment and account; see the bol.com privacy statement. From bol.com we receive only what we need to deliver your order and help you: your name, address and what you ordered. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this data for seven years because Dutch tax law requires it.

If you report an unsafe product to safety@gevtos.com, we use your report to investigate and fix the risk. Where the law requires it, we share the report with the competent authority, such as the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). Legal basis: legal obligation (EU Regulation 2023/988; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and legitimate interest.

For contact persons at factories and partners we keep name, job title, email address and phone number, for quotations, orders and quality control. Legal basis: legitimate interest and performance of the contract. We keep this data while we work together and up to two years after, or longer where our accounting obligations require it.

We never sell your data. We only share it with services we need: Cloudflare (website and email forwarding), Google (email), bol.com (orders) and, for a safety report, the authorities.

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Both participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which allows this transfer.

You may ask us what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You may also object to its use, have its use restricted, or ask for your data in a usable file. Email info@gevtos.com; we reply within one month. We do not make decisions about you that are made only by a computer.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or to the data protection authority in your own country.

If something changes, for example because we add a contact form or an online shop, we update this policy. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
